Let’s get your message out

Bill Ash Technical + Artistic Services has the skills and experience to help you put your best foot forward and get your message out.

Whether that message is a flyer announcing an event, a website describing and selling your products and services, a logo to visually identify your brand, or a book to tell your story, we can help you create it—from concept to conclusion.

WEBSITES

Your website is the foundation of your online presence. Social media is invaluable for making a splash, getting attention, and driving traffic to your business. But your website is the only online medium where you have complete control over the message and the presentation. Text, graphics, and colors can all be matched to your brand and your message in ways that are impossible in social media posts—and you don’t have to worry about any competitors’ ads appearing right next to your message, stealing your thunder or even your customers!

Bill Ash Technical + Artistic Services has the skills and experience necessary for all aspects of creating and updating websites, including copywriting and editing, graphic design and layout, and website programming and production.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

Whether your message is a marketing slogan for your brand, a website describing and selling your products and services, or a book telling your life story or explaining your philosophy, the text is usually the heart of your message. But the graphic design can be the soul of the message, enhancing and expanding it with color, form, and perhaps a logo.

Bill Ash Technical + Artistic Services can provide graphic design for almost any project, from flyers to books, logos to websites.

WRITING AND EDITING

You might have a strong message about your product, your service, or yourself, but maybe you’re just not quite sure how to say it. Maybe you have chronic writer’s block. Maybe you’re a numbers person or a visual thinker. Maybe you’ve had a recurring nightmare ever since junior high English class, in which a poorly scrawled sentence diagram comes to life and crawls like a spider off the page and up your arm, dangling participles and disagreeing with your subject, taunting you about the distinction between its and it’s.

Whatever the reason, if you want help writing copy for your website or other project, Bill Ash Technical + Artistic Services—with writing experience including software manuals, newspaper articles, websites, tech support FAQs, newsletters, training materials, and (at last count) 567,248 emails—can help you.

(If you need writing and editing services for a larger, book-length project, we suggest Lorraine Ash Literary Enterprises.)

Publishing, like so many other industries, has seen radical changes in recent years due to new technologies such as ebooks and self-publishing. These are exciting days to be an author, but the newfound complexities may leave you longing for the simpler days of yore.

If you’re interested in traditional publishing, Bill Ash Technical + Artistic Services can help you prepare your manuscript and/or proposal for submission to agents and publishers by ensuring it’s formatted to industry standards, inserting photos and other graphics if needed, and proofreading.

If you’re interested in self-publishing, Bill Ash Technical + Artistic Services can assist you through the entire book production process—or just the parts you don’t want to handle yourself. Available services for print books include cover design, interior design and layout, proofreading, production of final print-ready files, and submitting files to a printer. Services available for ebooks include cover design, interior layout, proofreading, production of final files, and submitting files to Amazon or other ebook publishers.

(If you need editing, ghostwriting, or other editorial services for your book, we suggest Lorraine Ash Literary Enterprises.)

COMPUTER SUPPORT

Computers—from phones to mainframes, but especially personal computers and tablets—have become essential tools in almost every industry, and important components in many aspects of our personal lives, too. But whether large or small, occasionally they can be unwieldy beasts to deal with. Sometimes a device refuses to work at all; other times a program may keep insisting on doing something you distinctly do not want it to do. Or maybe you just can’t figure out how to get your computer to do something that you know it should do. Let’s face it, computers can be so difficult to CTRL that there are times you wish you could just ESC from them. (All right, so that was a little contrived.)

With years of experience providing computer tech support and training, including several years managing the tech support department at a software publisher, Bill Ash Technical + Artistic Services has the experience, know-how, and skills to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of problems with Windows PCs.
